Epson Print Academy Extended

The Epson Print Academy has extended it’s tour of U.S. cities with three new cities added for the end of 2006 and a return trip to two cities in 2007.

Track One teaches digital SLR owners how to create prints just like the pros. Track Two teaches professionals advanced techniques to take printing to the next level.

I’ll be leaving for the Photoshop Soup2Nuts Conference Thursday along with some friends: Bruce Fraser & Seth Resnick from PixelGenius, Thomas Knoll and Marc Pawliger from Adobe and a host of other Photoshop luminaries including Scott Kelby, Michael Ninness, Ben Willmore, Terry White and more…

Lightroom Engineer Mark Hamburg to be at Photoshop Soup2Nuts

Former Photoshop engineer and current Adobe Lightroom engineering architect Mark Hamburg will be at the upcoming Photoshop Soup2Nuts Conference June 23-24, 2006 in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Mark, the second engineer to work on Photoshop (after Thomas Knoll) is actually from Midland, Michigan.

He’ll be attending the Soup2Nuts Conference where he has agreed to do several Adobe Lightroom presentations with speaker Jeff Schewe.

George Jardine, Pro Photo Evangelist will also attend and attempt to record several Lightroom Podcasts during the event.

Art enters the digital domain

Woodson exhibit features canvases worked by pixels rather than paintbrushes

Electric Paint: The Computer as 21st Century Canvas” features the cutting-edge work of 22 artists from all over the world, including Russia, Turkey, South America and Europe.

The exhibit opens Saturday and runs through June 18, 2006.
