Shortcuts to speed Develop

Here’s a short video on speeding up your Develop workflow. Using 4 single shortcuts, you can fly through the basic panel. I’ve also included a shortcut that I discovered earlier: resetting the image. The movie is a Quicktime movie, and a player can be downloaded from Apple.

Nice one, Sean. I didn’t know that!

..and if you hold the shift key down whilst pressing + or – then the changes jump in bigger increments.

Now if someone could work out a way to combine Sean’s handy tip with showing the changes in Threshold mode that would be perfect! (holding down the Alt key doesn’t work with this keyboard shortcut)

It sounds like you are saying the “full stop” key. What is that? I understand the other one is the comma. I have an iMac.

  4. Sean McCormack says:

Wow, that’s odd, the full stop is to the right of the comma on my iMac.

A full stop ends a sentence, whereas a comma creates a breathing space. With a comma, you still have more to say. The full stop finishes the saying.

Aha! What we call a period outside of Ireland. That’s a great tip and much appreciated. Thanks very much. –Al Marsh
