Color Management in Lightroom
Color Management guru, and fellow Lightroom-News.com editor, Andrew Rodney has an excellent article covering color management in Lightroom in Professional Photographer Magazine. “The goal in the design of Lightroom was to make color management nearly invisible” says Andrew.
He also notes “To a color geek, Adobe Lightroom has limited color management options, but it greatly simplifies the user experience. The missing functionality is a trade-off.” Andrew also covers these limits in the article. If you have even a passing interest in how color management works in Lightroom, then this is well worth a read.
Andrew is a well known colour expert and his book Color Management for Photographers is available now. You can also download a Sample Chapter to preview the book.
