Inside Lightroom was set up by Richard Earney to enable sharing of Develop Presets for the Lightroom Beta Forums. The site has been recently updated to include V1 Presets. It is also being expanded to contain tips and tricks about using Lightroom.

Each of the Develop Presets on the site have a preview of its effect with both a landscape and a portrait image. Contributors to the site include Martin Evening, Ian Lyons and John Beardsworth amongst others. Mark Hamburg even inspired a new preset ‘Hamburgs Funky Twist’. In addition to being able to download these, you can also submit your own.

To help with Preset creation Richard has written ‘The Anatomy of a Preset’, a downloadable PDF file explaining all you could ever need to know about Develop Presets.
Richard runs Method Photo. He is a Lightroom and Photoshop Beta Tester as well as Licenciate of the Royal Photographic Society. He is also a Series Editor for the forthcoming Digital Workflow series from Focal Press.
