Lightroom Public Beta 3.0 for Mac Now Available

Adobe Incorporates Early Testers’ Feedback and Additional Raw File Support in Updated Beta

Press Release: SAN JOSE, Calif. — June 13, 2006 — Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) today announced an update to the public beta of Adobe Lightroom, an all-new digital imaging workflow solution for professional photographers that allows them to import, select, develop and showcase large volumes of images. The latest version adds features suggested by beta testers that allow greater control over export size and resolution, refined metadata selection with print output and RGB value readouts for greater editing precision.

Adobe Lightroom Beta 3 Released


Adobe has released Adobe Lightroom Beta 3 for Mac.
It is available for download at Labs.Adobe.com/Lightroom. Beta 3 brings a variety of new functionality including a new module and refinements of other modules. Also added is a new “Watched Folder” function to automatically import files into Lightroom when new files are added to a specified folder. It should also be noted that the application name has been changed from just ‘Lightroom’ to ‘Adobe Lightroom’. Hopefully, this will be the last name change. Adobe Stock Photos 1.07 Update Released

Adobe has released an update to bring Adobe Stock Photos to version 1.0.7. This updates resolves an issue with crashing when using version 1.0.6. To accesss and install the update, launch Adobe Bridge, go to Help menu and launch Adobe Updater. Scroll to the Adobe Stock Photos item and select Adobe Stock Photo 1.0.7. The update is for both Mac and Windows and is only available via Adobe Updater.
